Buying a home?
Did you know some agents charge hidden fees?
-
Typically Buyer's Agents get paid 3% from the seller of the home you want to purchase. Your contract with your Realtor may require you to pay the full 3% in the event the seller doesn't.
-
Your Realtor may boast having a savvy transaction coordinator available to you, while also charging that fee to you in their representation agreement.
-
Historically, Realtors have been paid 3% when helping you sell a home and 3% when helping you buy a home. Sticking to this norm could be considered as a form of price fixing.
